Bangkok – 14 July 2020 – SAIC Motor-CP Co., Ltd. and MG Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., as a manufacturer and distributor of MG cars in Thailand, underline the business’s directions and the brand’s new dimensions while driving the "passion to be better", presenting all MG models, auto innovations and exclusive deals at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2020.

The novel coronavirus or Covid-19 pandemic has brought about numerous changes and the development in various areas which in turn help to create new innovations and the NEW NORMAL where people learn to adapt to changes on the personal and public level. In the past months, MG has gone full steam towards the company’s previously-scheduled business operational plans which include the debut of the NEW MG ZS through Facebook Live and YouTube as well as the launch of its Official Line Account and most recently TikTok channel so that there are more communication platforms for the brand and the products which will lead to more interactions among its target groups.

In terms of sales, MG has offered an exclusive offer to help alleviate the burden of its customers during the past months. Moreover, the company also pays attention to customers’ health and safety with the implementation of Covid-19 preventive measures so that clients can rest assured when they visit MG showrooms and service centers. For customer convenience, the company also allows test drives to be carried out at clients’ home or office.

In terms of service, MG joins hands with dealers nationwide to increase the number of its Mobile Service units to 91 which are able to cover all areas in Thailand. At the same time, MG continues to open its showrooms and standard service centers. The company expects to have 137 showrooms and service centers across the country by the end of this month and expects to reach 150 by the end of this year.

Apart from its business operations, MG also has a strong mission to support and give back to the society. One of its projects is “Together For Better Thailand” in which the much-needed help is sent out to various organizations affected by the outbreak including the delivery of 400,000 surgical masks to governors of provinces across Thailand through the Ministry of Interior and the Ruamkatanyu Foundation. The company also gives the NEW MG EXTENDER to Mr. Bhin Banloerit, the Chumchon Thai Foundation and the Northern Development Foundation as a vehicle for charitable works in communities nationwide.
